Natural Textiles as Clothing Materials
Inside every
piece of clothing you'll find a style and taste. Research it well
before buying the clothing. It is always very important to get
quality clothing. The quality
of the clothing lies not in its design, color or style, but in the
material used. Therefore, everyone has to have at least some idea and
knowledge of what different types of materials there are and what
characteristics they have.
The mid layer
constitutes one of the main designer
clothes categories. Its main purpose is to provide the body with
warm. As most of these clothing are in direct contact with the body,
natural textiles such as silk, linen
and cotton are recommended.
Cotton is
similar and resembles linen, but except that it is less resistant.
Cotton is soft and light, resistant to heat, thus cotton clothes can
be ironed and washed in high temperatures. It is impossible to resist
a light cotton top or tunic, very much in fashion
this summer. Cotton is impervious to air. When it is close to the
body, it absorbs body moisture, and fractions of epithelium. It is a
perfectly hygienic textile.
A woman who
does not have a single piece of clothing made of linen in her wardrobe
is hard to find. Linen is one of the oldest clothing materials. Its
most valued characteristics are as follows:
- regulate
body temperature and moisture by evaporating it;
- it is
impervious to air, whereby it creates a perfect body microclimate;
- is not a
good conductor of electricity;
- neutralises
body odour
Natural silk
is a unique and natural clothing material. Many types of clothes are
made of silk - designer
suits, underwear, designer
dresses, designer
tops, designer
skirts, etc. It is also a highly clean and hygienic material.
Worn in hot weather, silk cools and refreshes the body, whereas in
cold, it warms it up. This is due to its low warmth permeability.
Silk, just like all the natural textiles, absorbs moisture and never
looks damp.
We often
associate wool with perfect warmth. Like silk, it is a natural
product. This material is usually used to produce clothes of the
upper layer that do not have direct contact with body such as coats,
jackets, ponchos, suits, etc. Many people find wool irritating and
rough. That is why bed clothing is made of camel, lama or sheep wool
that does not need to be covered in cotton covers these days. People
who live in the mountains wear wool cloaks and hats, which protects
them temperature contrasts. One of the characteristics of wool is
that it shrinks. It is recommended to wash with special wool
products or dry clean it. In this way, wool clothes will keep
their fluffy and softness. |
